Famous producer, director and businessman Hasan Yıldız met with students at the conference titled “The Future is Still in Your Hands” held at the Blue Hall of Bolu İzzet Baysal University Cultural Center. The event organized by the Faculty of Communication was attended by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Aydın Him, Secretary General İhsan Ağcan, Dean of the Faculty of Communication Prof. Dr. Emre Tandırlı, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Nazmiye Demirel and many academics and students.

Sharing inspiring anecdotes from his career journey at the conference, Hasan Yıldız gave important messages to students on success, modesty and human values.

“Keep the Doors of Your Heart Open”

Addressing students with examples from his own life, Hasan Yıldız said the following:

“When you reach very good places, never forget where you came from. Ego and arrogance will finish you. Don’t let position and money poison you anywhere. Be a slave to love, compassion and brotherhood, not position and money. Keep the doors of your heart open.”

Those Who Lost Their Lives in the Fire Disaster in Kartalkaya Commemorated

At the end of the conference, Yıldız commemorated those who lost their lives in the hotel fire in Kartalkaya last month and prayed for mercy for the lost.

Reaction to Violence Against Women

In his speech, Yıldız emphasized that violence against women is unacceptable and stated that there is no excuse for violence. He said, “Violence against women is a betrayal to humanity. We must support each other as a society and defend the safety and rights of women under all circumstances,” and invited students to be more sensitive about this issue.
