The competition, which was attended by students from all communication faculties in Turkey, saw only ten entries from each category qualify for the final round. The awards ceremony, organized by TRT, was attended by our University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alişarlı, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Samettin Gündüz, Dean of the Faculty of Communication Prof. Dr. Emre Tandırlı, and our student Omar Saleh. Omar Saleh, a student of Palestinian origin from the Radio, Television, and Cinema Department of the Faculty of Communication, placed second in the Short Film category with his work "Applause."
