The Faculty of Communication at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University, recognized as “the other name of quality”, has added another significant achievement to its mission-driven societal contribution activities. With its city-oriented, public-focused and sector-driven structure, our faculty continues to lead transformative collaborations that directly serve the community.
On Thursday, 20 November 2025, our distinguished academics Prof. Dr. Yavuz AKÇİ and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tülin SEPETCİ successfully conducted a specialized training program titled “Public Relations and Communication in Traffic Inspections” for the personnel of the Bolu Provincial Police Directorate.
The comprehensive program focused on:
Effective communication techniques during traffic inspections,
Professional conduct in citizen–institution interaction,
Communication strategies for crisis situations,
The contribution of public relations to security services,
Academic insights for solving communication challenges in field operations.
Bringing together academic expertise and real-life field experience, the program was enriched by the active participation and practical knowledge of police personnel.
