International Success from the Faculty of Communication at BAIBU: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tülin Sepetci Contributed to the Digital Transformation in Europe

The Faculty of Communication at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University has achieved another significant success in line with its internationalization vision. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tülin Sepetci, a faculty member in the Department of Visual Communication Design, successfully represented our university at the training program held in Darmstadt, Germany, from November 24-28, as part of the Erasmus+ International Staff Week 2025 program.

The program, which attracted 20 academics from distinguished European universities, was hosted by the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences. The academics participated in a week of advanced training on next-generation communication and design fields such as gamification, artificial intelligence, augmented reality, virtual reality, and digital narrative. At the end of the training, all participants received certificates.

This international event both shed light on the uses of new technologies in the academic world and contributed to the strengthening of interuniversity collaboration networks. Associate Professor Dr. Tülin Sepetci, who participated in the program on behalf of our faculty, has drawn attention with her expertise in digital culture, new media technologies, and innovative design practices, and has shared her work with international scholars.

As the BAİBÜ Faculty of Communication, we continue to support participation in international events, guided by the principles of continuous development, global vision, and academic diversity. The integration of academic activities conducted at our faculty with the world is one of our greatest strengths, ensuring our students receive a globally oriented education.
