As part of the "Renovation Assembly" events hosted by the Religious Affairs Youth Center at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University (BAİBÜ), this week's guest was Prof. Dr. Ercan Aktan, Dean of the Faculty of Communication at Aksaray University (ASÜ).

The program, which drew a large number of students from various departments at our university, featured a talk titled "On Digital Literacy."

The program addressed the opportunities and threats brought by the digital age. Prof. Dr. Aktan touched on understanding the digital world accurately, the disinformation processes encountered in digital media, and the "active consciousness" that must be cultivated in the face of these processes. Aktan offered students academic and practical perspectives on digital media literacy and emphasized the importance of conscious media consumption.

The program, organized in collaboration with BİLADER and the Religious Affairs Youth Center and attracting considerable student interest, concluded with a Q&A session in which Prof. Dr. Ercan Aktan answered students' questions and a commemorative photo.
