Our university received "Full Accreditation" from YÖKAK (Council of Higher Education Accreditation).

With a rich academic and administrative history spanning over 30 years, our University has achieved a historic success by taking its work in the field of quality assurance to the highest level. The 2-year Conditional Accreditation that our University was awarded in 2022 has been upgraded to a 5-year 'Full Accreditation' by a unanimous decision of the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK).

The improvement efforts and determined steps taken by our University within the scope of the "Conditional Accreditation" process received in 2022 have borne fruit. In the interim evaluation conducted within the scope of the Institutional Accreditation Program (KAP) conducted by YÖKAK, and at the council meeting held on July 18, 2025, it was unanimously confirmed that our University fully meets the YÖKAK institutional accreditation standards, and the Conditional Accreditation status was updated to "Full Accreditation".

This historic achievement; Our university has documented that it fully complies with national quality standards and possesses a sustainable quality assurance system in its activities in the areas of Leadership, Governance and Quality, Education and Training, Research and Development, and Social Contribution.

In a statement on the matter, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alişarlı, emphasized that this success was achieved through joint effort, dedication, and belief, saying, “This important milestone reached in our university's quality journey is a great source of pride for all of us. The Full Accreditation decision, unanimously granted by YÖKAK, is the most concrete indication that our institution aims for excellence in education, research, and service to society. During this process, we meticulously carried out all the improvement work required by conditional accreditation. Behind this success lies the effort of each of our academic and administrative staff, the dynamism of our students, and the valuable contributions of our external stakeholders. I offer my sincerest gratitude to everyone who contributed.”

Rector Alişarlı also expressed his gratitude to YÖKAK (Council of Higher Education Quality Assurance), which has guided, created, and evaluated the development of quality and accreditation processes in our universities since their establishment.

Rector Alişarlı noted that with the Full Accreditation obtained by our University, it is strengthening its prestige in the national and international arena, and is moving confidently towards its goal of offering its students a more qualified future and making stronger contributions to the scientific world. He concluded his statement by saying, “With the responsibility brought by Full Accreditation, we will continue to work with all our might to further advance our quality standards.”
