A comprehensive evaluation meeting was held at the Faculty of Communication of Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University, with the participation of administrative staff, as part of the preparations for the Spring Semester of the 2025-2026 Academic Year. Organized by the Dean's Office and held in person in the Faculty Meeting Room, the meeting addressed academic, administrative, technical, and quality processes for the spring semester with a holistic approach.

The meeting evaluated the current procedures within the faculty and discussed plans for the new semester. The main goals were to prevent potential disruptions at the start of the semester, to make work processes more planned and traceable, and to improve service quality.

Among the decisions made at the meeting were: creating academic and administrative workflow plans for the spring semester, more effectively managing course registration and academic advising processes, completing classroom and technical infrastructure preparations, and updating digital information and announcement systems.

Strengthening student support, guidance, and counseling mechanisms was also among the important agenda items. It was emphasized that coordination between relevant units needs to be increased so that students can benefit more effectively from academic and administrative support services. In addition, it was decided to prepare an updated stakeholder communication plan to increase the faculty's visibility and to make collaborations with external stakeholders more planned.

Other topics discussed at the meeting included the organization of document, archive, and digital document management systems before the spring semester, and updating the assignments of administrative personnel to suit the workload of the new semester. It was agreed that data-driven planning should be carried out by obtaining feedback and needs reports from the units to ensure more efficient processes.

In the evaluation at the end of the meeting, it was stated that the achievements obtained in the fall semester of the 2025-2026 academic year significantly contributed to entering the spring semester stronger and better prepared. It was emphasized that the Faculty of Communication is preparing for the new semester with a planned and sustainable approach, adhering to quality standards, and that the commitment to continue conducting academic and administrative processes in harmony will continue.
