The Dean of the Faculty of Communication at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University, Prof. Dr. Emre Tandırlı, the Vice Dean Assoc. Dr. Gülşah Sarı, the Vice Chair of the Symposium Organizing Committee Prof. Dr. Banu Barış, and the Organization Coordinator Ayten Bekar, paid a congratulatory visit to Assoc. Dr. Nurettin Kartallıoğlu, who was appointed as the Director of the University's Turkish Language Teaching Center (TÖMER), and his Deputy Director Alparslan Karabulut.

During the visit, potential collaborations, areas of cultural interaction, and academic projects between our faculty, TÖMER, and the International Students Coordination Office were discussed. In particular, there was a mutual exchange of views on conducting joint studies to increase the active participation of students from different geographical regions in academic processes in the fields of communication, media, and culture.

Since its establishment, the Faculty of Communication has contributed to not only Bolu but also national and international academic circles with high-quality scientific production, events, and projects. Through international symposiums, workshops, design events, and student projects, our faculty... It presents an exemplary structure that combines academic quality, applied education, and sectoral interaction.

Through strong and sustainable ties to be established with TÖMER, it is aimed to implement new projects in the field of intercultural communication, support the academic and social adaptation processes of international students, and further enrich the multicultural academic atmosphere of our faculty.
