The main agenda item of the meeting, which took place both face-to-face and via online platforms, was student satisfaction surveys.

A student satisfaction survey improvement action plan meeting was held with student representatives and students in conference hall 1005 between 14:00-15:30 on 22 05 2024.

The 6 topics below 50 points, listed in order of the student satisfaction surveys in the KYS System, starting from the lowest, were discussed one by one. Solution suggestions regarding these topics were also discussed one by one. Action plans were created by consulting in line with the opinions and suggestions of our students regarding these topics. These are listed below.
Student exchange programs (40)
Action plan: It was decided to enter into an intensive correspondence traffic with the cooperation of our Erasmus coordinator regarding this item, which received 40 points. This item is also among the accreditation criteria of İLEDAK, which you are included in. Therefore, it was emphasized that this is the main improvement action plan to be addressed within the scope of both accreditation and internal QMS internal quality management studies. With the suggestion of our students, it was decided to establish new agreements by making correspondence with the current Ionia University in Greece as well as Romania and Western European countries.

Internship opportunities (40.3)
Action plan: This item, which received 40.3 points, is also at the forefront among the sectoral education and training criteria in İLEDAK accreditation. In fact, it is also a demand highlighted by our students within the scope of surveys. In this sense, a start has been given regarding the İLEDAK accreditation action plan that we are currently in, and the process has been initiated by including our pilot department, which will be accredited, in the program of the Radio, Television and Cinema department. It has been decided that the process procedures and stages will be followed meticulously in cooperation with our dean's office and the relevant department head.
Cultural activities (44)
Action plan: Regarding this item, which received 44 points, it was emphasized that recovery actions have already been implemented with the interviews, panels, conferences, and especially the BAİBÜİLEF-İG 2024 Symposium, which were held in the six months since the survey was conducted in November. An action plan was focused on in terms of a request from our students, which was to have to choose between the papers presented simultaneously due to the simultaneous symposium sessions, and to have the papers spread out over days with less simultaneity. Therefore, it was decided that BAİBÜİLEF-İG 2025 would be spread over 4 or 5 days. In addition, it was discussed to invite not only industry veterans and academics, but also life coaches such as Ufuk Koçak, who can be an example in terms of motivation for our students, in terms of cultural activities. Social activities (44)
Action plan: Regarding this item that received 44 points, our students expressed their desire to have musical social activities especially in the spring months when the weather gets warmer. Therefore, we made some plans in this direction after our graduation ceremony that will be held on 30 05 2024 as an action plan. We also convened our graduation committee with an urgent planning and quality agenda and implemented this action by assigning musician academic staff and students from the Faculty of Fine Arts and the Faculty of Education.
Foreign language (44:8)
Action plan: Regarding this item that received 44.8 points. Again, regarding the English courses that received very low scores in the end-of-fall-term course evaluation surveys within the faculty, it was decided to discuss the issue with the management of the School of Foreign Languages ​​and to make improvements for our B1 vocational English courses in the 2024-2025 academic year.
Workshop, laboratory facilities (44:8)
Action plan: Regarding this item, which received 44.8 points, it was decided to gradually provide purchases and improvements to our faculty budget, especially with the income obtained from BAIBUILEF-IG activities, in order to improve the existing facilities.

Finally, it was stated that the action plans that were decided above were also the actions planned within the scope of the ILEDAK Accreditation process that we are in. Among these are:

The meeting ended with the action plans taken into the Pukö cycle with the action plans that were taken into consideration and the outputs of both ILEDAK and KYS internal quality were taken into consideration.
