The third "International Communication Days," organized by the Faculty of Communication at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University (BAİBÜ), will begin on May 13, 2026, with the theme "From Alphabet to Algorithm: New Horizons in Global Communication Symposium," and will transform Bolu into one of the international academic world's centers for three days.
The symposium, which will begin immediately after the İzzet Baysal Thanksgiving Days, will once again showcase Bolu's prominence not only for its natural beauty but also for its scientific output and academic achievements. The event offers a broad perspective encompassing communication sciences as well as artificial intelligence, engineering, design, and digital transformation.
The symposium, which will address technological developments shaping the future of global communication, will open up a multifaceted discussion on the social, cultural, and academic impacts of artificial intelligence. In this respect, the organization goes beyond being merely a communication event, becoming an interdisciplinary scientific platform.
This year, academics from 65 different universities will participate in the program, and hundreds of scientists from dozens of different countries will gather in Bolu. The symposium, featuring respected figures in their fields, will also pave the way for international academic collaborations. The symposium aims to contribute to Turkey's scientific visibility and to position Bolu as a global center of science and ideas.
The event, taking place on May 13-14-15, is preparing to open "new horizons in global communication" by bringing together scientists, researchers, and students under one roof. With this gathering, Bolu will once again be a city where science and the future are discussed.
