The Curriculum Development Committee, Sector Stakeholders and students met with the agenda of updating the course curriculum.

Within the scope of the main agenda item of course updates, new course suggestions were discussed and taken, which were created around the subjects that will provide countless benefits for the communication sector of today and the future. In the meeting, an agreement was reached on new elective courses in line with the important suggestions of Sector Stakeholders and Students and the academic experiences of our Curriculum Development Committee.

Within the framework of this draft decision, a new elective suitable for the dynamics of the sector and current life was determined. Within the scope of these courses, new course suggestions were created with the explanations of our stakeholders about important subjects and related fields of study that are needed and expected to become more important in the future communication world.

1. Breathing exercises for news reporting (PRACTICAL)
2. Non-verbal communication and body language (Theoretical)
3. Radio and Television Journalism (PRACTICAL)
4. Digital Media and Children (Theoretical)
5. Positive Psychology and Effective Communication (Theoretical)

In the first stage, a consensus was reached on opening these five courses to the elective pool.
