The conference titled "War Reporting" was held in the Green Hall of Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University (BAİBÜ) Congress Center, organized together with Evrensel Media Community and Bolu Journalists and Writers Association.

BAİBÜ Faculty of Communication Dean Prof. Dr. Emre Tandırlı, Journalism Department Head Prof. Dr. Selami Özsoy, Evrensel Media Community Advisor Research Assistant Mahmut Rıfkı Ünal, Bolu Journalists and Writers Association President Mehmet Emin Gürbüz and association members, faculty of communication academics and students attended the event.

The conference began with the opening speech of Faculty of Communication Dean Prof. Dr. Emre Tandırlı. Then, community advisor Research Assistant Mahmut Rıfkı Ünal and Evrensel Media Community President Tevhide İrem Zorlu made their speeches. The guest of the conference, Anadolu Agency (AA) cameraman Tayyip Hoşbaş, shared his experiences during his time on duty in the Ukraine-Russia war and the difficulties of being a war reporter. Hoşbaş provided detailed information about the risks of the profession and being a war reporter. After his presentation, he showed his documentary "The Eyes That War Left Old" to the participants. He stated that this documentary has been previously broadcast on many platforms and is one of the documentaries that won awards at important festivals such as the Dispatches of War International Film Festival and the Eastern Europe International Movie Awards (EEIMA). At the end of his presentation, Tayyip Hoşbaş presented his own book "KINDNESS" to the Evrensel Media Community as a gift. The event ended with a group photo taken with the Dean of the Faculty of Communication Prof. Dr. Emre Tandırlı presenting certificates of appreciation to Tayyip Hoşbaş and the Community Advisor Res. Asst. Mahmut Rıfkı Ünal presenting certificates of appreciation to the Bolu Journalists and Writers Association.
