“The Great Victory of August 30, 1922, which wrote Turkish independence and freedom in gold letters against imperialism, was won with faith, belief and the blood of our ancestors. This Great Victory of the War of Independence; the Battle of Kütahya Dumlupınar Field, is also known as the Battle of the Commander-in-Chief Field, as it was personally led by Mustafa Kemal Pasha. We pray and pray for the mercy of Allah for all the martyrs who gave their martyrdom for this heavenly homeland where our crescent star flag, which takes its color from the sacred blood of our martyrs, will wave forever and the calls to prayer will never cease until the Day of Judgment."
