PHOTOMARATHON IS STARTING!
Our photo marathon event, themed “Autumn on Campus” and open to all amateur and professional photographers, is starting!
The jewel of our capital of nature, Bolu, is immortalized with the autumn colors of our campus surrounded by greenery and natural beauties with the photos of all our students and staff!
Meeting place: In front of the Rectorate building
Meeting day and time: November 13, 2024 at 13:00
MARATHON PROGRAM
Tea and soup will be served at the meeting point, the Rector's speech will be given, and then the start will be given. We will take walks on the campus for 2-3 hours, taking photos on a certain track, accompanied by our guide teacher. Then, around 17:00 in the evening, the photographer group will return to the Rectorate again, the final statements will be made by our guide and project manager, and the Marathon will end.
COMPETITION PROCESS
On Wednesday, November 13th, we will take a short walk around the campus and we will edit the photos we took on the afternoon, and send them to ilefetkinlik@ibu.edu.tr by adding a NICKNAME to the address of maximum 3 photos in 300 dpi resolution, horizontally or vertically, in JPEG format, by the end of business hours on Friday, November 15th.

A rating will be made among the photos taken after the jury evaluation, and the opening of the “Autumn on Campus” FOTOMARATON Photography Competition Exhibition will be held in our exhibition hall together with the award ceremony.

Purpose of the Competition: To select and exhibit the photo that best reflects the spirit of the subject among those who photographed the theme of “Autumn on Campus”.

Subject of the Competition: Photographs reflecting the theme of autumn within the borders of BAIBU are within the scope of the subject of the competition.
Participation Conditions:
* For BAIBU Academic, Administrative staff and students
* Each participant can participate in the competition with a maximum of 3 works.
* Photos sent to the competition will be sent with a resolution of 300 dpi and recorded in JPEG format, with the long side not exceeding 70 cm and the short side not exceeding 50 cm (vertically or horizontally). Photos can be in color or black and white.

Each photo must be given a name (nickname).

Photographs must not have won an award in any previous competition.

Photographs must be sent to ilefetkinlik@ibu.edu.tr e-mail address.

The “Autumn on Campus” themed Photomarathon event organized by our University Rectorate will start on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at 13:00 in front of the Rectorate Building.

The event will start with the refreshments to be served in front of the Rectorate Building and our Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alişarlı giving the start. The event will be held by taking photos during a 2-3 hour walk in the Gölköy Campus under the guidance of the Dean of the Faculty of Communication Prof. Dr. Emre Tandırlı.

Participation Conditions:

* BAİBÜ Academic, Administrative staff and students can participate

* Each participant can participate in the competition with a maximum of 3 works.

* The photographs sent to the competition will be sent with a resolution of 300 dpi, with the long side not exceeding 70 cm and the short side not exceeding 50 cm (vertically or horizontally) and recorded in JPEG format. The photographs can be colored or black and white.

* A name (nickname) must be given to each photograph.

* The photographs must not have won an award in any previous competition.

* The photographs must be optionally edited and sent to the e-mail address ilefetkinlik@ibu.edu.tr by the end of business hours on Friday, November 15th at the latest.

* Photographs reflecting the autumn theme within the boundaries of BAİBÜ Gölköy Campus will be considered valid.
