The Council of Ministers’ decision numbered 2012/2908 regarding the establishment of the Faculty of Communication at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University was published in the Official Gazette dated March 23, 2012. Our faculty accepted its first students to the Journalism Department in the 2015-2016 academic year. In the 2017-2018 academic year, students were accepted to the Department of Public Relations and Publicity, and in the 2018-2019 academic year, students were accepted to the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema. While our students are provided with theoretical and practical education in the field of communication, it is aimed for them to use the technology required by the age effectively. Our students have the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills they acquire in classes in the newspaper called Bolu İletişim and in the television studios that are being equipped.
